When I left my job as a lawyer to stay home with my newborn son two years ago, I revisited knitting and quickly discovered a void in the marketplace of cool, functional, great-looking knitting bags. I find time to knit at the coffee shop, on the bike at the gym, in the waiting room at doctors appointments – anyplace I can find a few minutes, actually. However, I could not find any hip, stylish bags in which to take my knitting on the go.

We care about our purses, our wallets, our brief cases – why carry grandma’s knitting bag? So, with the goal of creating a fashion-savvy knitting bag for the fashion-savvy knitter, I sat down, drew up some designs, got sewing, and Knitone, “bags for people who stitch” was born.
